Dear Mark, many thanks again for a sterling service, I cleaned the pilot assembly and the boiler fired up without delay… This is with the old gas valve installed, all is hunky dory thanks to you, out of shear respect… I am keeping the new valve and installing it as it is very much quieter than the old one and your price is unbeatable, I won’t be needing anything else thank you… (until the next time!) meanwhile I have no hesitation to recommend you to all and sundry, sorry to have been a pain.
